  1. Ok -- this is really frustrating me...

    I have downloaded several TMPGenc templates and have put them in the "C:\PROGRAM FILES\PEGASYS INC\TMPGENC 2.5\TEMPLATE" directory and they do not show up in the Wizard. I've done this at least 100 times before, but since upgrading to 2.5 -- they just do not show up !!

    The default templates are in the Wizard, but none of the ones I've added. What is going on !?

    Thanks !!

  2. LOad a STANDARD template then alter it somewhat then click save template and give it a new name "TEST". Close down tmpgenc . reboot (optional) re-open tmpgenc and you should see your template in there. If not search for for TEST.MCF and see where it has ended up.

  3. Its probably trying to read them from your old template dir. I remember I had a similar problem when I upgraded.
    Ejoc's CVD Page:
    DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy

    DVD:
    DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX

    Capture:
    VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author

  4. Ummm... Well ....

    OK -- it was an ID10T error. My shortcut for TMPGenc program was actually pointing to an install of TMPGenc that is part of EazyVCD and not to the executable in the C:\PROGRAM FILES\PEGASYS INC\TMPGENC 2.5 directory where I was putting the MCF files.

    One of the problems with multiple instances of a program is keeping track of what is where !

    Thanks for the responses.
