Problem Multiplexing

I have a dual audio file with subtitles that I'd like to convert to a SVCD with selectable subtitles. I followed the directions in the guide here on dvdhelp, but I've hit a snag that I just can't find anyway around. I have my .m2v file and my 2 .mp2 files. I load up bbmpeg and according to the settings in the guide referenced, hit start and it gives me a "error reading from an input file".

I also tried to load the files into TMPG in the multiplexing in the mpeg tools, and TMPG won't even load the .mp2 files.

I have searched these archives, several others and the web in general, but can't find anything that might help me with this problem. If anyone could help me with this problem, I'd really appreciate it.

Can no one help me with this? Surely there's *someone* out there that's encountered this problem?!
