Hey all,
This is a problem I've never heard of outside my experience, hopefully someone here has. On rare occasions when playing a file media player (any media player I try actually) will display the incorrect length of a file. For example, I just converted a file from xvid to svcd, the xvid plays at 1 hour 45 minutes, but for some reason the svcd only plays at 1 hour and 34 minutes, cutting off the end of the film. This happens infrequently but when it does happen I can't seem to fix it, reencoding does nothing, same result. This happens with files that I have NOT encoded as well so it seems to be totally random. I am out of ideas, anyone have any???
Thanks!

In addition to the above, if I look at the file with movieID it shows me the correct, longer length, I'm baffled.
