An Interesting Problem - Please Help!!!

I have recently perchased a DVD over the internet (Bad Boys II) - only to realise that it is in NTSC format, but when I ordered it - It said it was PAL.
I cannot return this DVD to get a refund as the returns period has expired. Is there any way I could convert the NTSC DVD into a PAL DVD. I have a DVD-R burner and Nero 6.0. I would be greatly indebted to any help!

That won't make any difference. If you have a PAL DVD you need a player and a TV that are PAL capable. The region code has nothing to do with that.

Demonstratably not true. Both my players will convert PAL to NTSC on the fly and display them on my NTSC TV. Very useful but little used feature for someone in the US. Fortuantely for me I like bad kung-fu movies from Hong Kong!!! (stuff not released in the us until years later, like Iron Monkey or Shaolin Soccer).

You should have specified which part is not true.

That's correct. With some players you don't need a PAL TV.

However that still has nothing to do with the region code. You (or the manufacturer) could make a PAL disk with any region code (or an NTSC disk with any region code). The region code is not directly related to the system type.
