I have used this program for about 2 months only playing the dvds produced on my xbox which have been working fine...
Since then two friends have borrowed some movies and they have both had trouble. One of them says they get an "error data" message and the dvd refuses to play (i think its an acoustic solutions machine) and the other player refuses to do anything (think that's a philips).
I later tried the disc on a Goodmans dvd player and another xbox both of which play fine...
Any ideas why they might not be playing on these two machines (which normally play dvdr)... is it something to do with the program or am i doing something wrong??? (I do the "get vts sector" thing just before burning)
Thanks in advance,
Michael Jones

do you have to do the "get vts sectors" on the original ripped dvd???
wouldnt have thought this would make any difference... -
It may have nothing to do with the software you use, or how you use it.
What DVD Media are you using? DVD-R, DVD+R?, Brand name?
Have you checked the DVD Compatility list? The links is on your left, same for the DVD Media. There players may not be compatible with the media, or burner you use.
What software are you using to burn the DVDs?
What DVD burner are you using? etc.
