  1. Hello all,

I have yet to find a good tutorial on how to create beginning intro titles and credits and rolling credits at the end of a movie. I have Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects 6.0, and Photoshop 7.0. I'm sure I could accomplish this with these products but I am new at doing it and I couldn't find any good tutorials on the internet. Just wondering if anyone else had an idea where to look for some. Thanks!

    Hi DigitalDeath,

Me too. I've been pointed in the direction of:

    http://www.wrigleyvideo.com

It's a Premiere (and related tools) site, but haven't had a chance to check out the tutorials or post a question on the forum.

Good luck, and please post back if you have any luck as I would like to know how to do it too.

    Cheers.

i'm not saying pinnacle studio 8 is the best, but rollong credits do work.
you can also slecet font, color etc, which looks pretty cool.

  5. Well being as how I like to figure things out no matter how long it takes I finally figured it out and made a rockin title sequence for my kids home movie last night. In pro all you do is go to File>New>Titles....

This will bring up another window with a titling program, you edit it like any Photoshop text editing. You can also select rolling at the drop down menu at the top and configure the rolling text that way. After you are done just X out the window (close it) and it will prompt you to save the title. After you are done just drag the title into the timeline, right click to change the duration and off you go. I also edited it so I could have different titles fade in and out within each other etc, it's a great tool.

    Fantastic !!! Well done.

I shall try it in Premiere 6.0 (hopefully the functionality is there too).

Were the titles lenght longer than the size of the screen? Does that make sense? What I mean is - are there titles still to come up from the bottom whilst others have already disappeared off the top? (you know, like at the movies - the end credits).

Just in case anyone reads this and finds it useful... The method described by DigitalDeath works in Premiere 6.0.

If you want to start and end with a blank screen with the titles rolling right from the bottom to the last line scrolling right off the top, just insert sufficient empty lines at the top and bottom.
