  1. I am having trouble putting this .divx file on to a disc it is too large to put on one disc, and was wondering how to cut the format .divx into two parts. It isn't a .avi file that is why I ask. Thanks!

  2. If you are trying to ONLY store the data and NOT make it a VCD type CDR I use WinRAR archiving program to span the file into multiple pieces so they can be put on more than one disk. Later I can reconstruct the two files as one w/ winrar also. Not sure if this is what you are trying to do. If not Sorry.

  3. GO TO THE TOOLS SECTION ON THIS SITE,AND GET AVI CHOP,IT WILL DO THE TRICK.

  4. are you sure it isnt an avi file? because i know the vidomi encoder creates divx movies with a default extension of .divx.. its pretty much the same thing, just a different extension.. it doesnt really matter..

    how big is the file?
