  1. I have obtained a live Radiohead gig which has two folders-VIDEO_RM and VIDEO_TS. I presume that these are DVD+R folders. However, I have a DVD-R writer so the question is-can I convert these folders so that they are compatible with DVD-R ie VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS?

    Thanks
    Ade

Why do you presume that they are DVD+R folders? There is no such thing.

Have you already tried burning them to DVD-R?

  3. When I try to burn the video_ts folder in Nero as normal I get a "DVD Video files realloation failed" message. If I try and include the files inside the Video_rm folder I am told that they can not reside inside the Video_ts folder. I can play the video via the PC OK.

  5. this is what you just need

    1. Rip the dvd in in IFO mode. Rip it to your hard disk, do each recording to a separate folder
    2. open IFOEdit, open the IFO in it from one of your folders, Go to VOB Extra's, Create New IFO's.
    3. when the window comes up, make sure the destination directory is in that folder. click ok. it will create new IFO's
    4.Open dvd shrink.
5.Open files ----> choose the IFO in the folder you have just created with the new IFO's

    Adepizza,

You may have done this, but when using Nero, use the DVD wizard. When the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS template appears drag the files from your VIDEO_TS folder on your PC's hard disc to the Nero writing side.

I'm not sure what the video_rm folder is, but you should be able to copy it over, make sure its at the root of the DVD structure.

    Burn away.

    Hope it helps

Have you tried to open the video_rm folder, if so, what is contained in the folder?
