I just bought 4x BeBall DVD-Rs from meritline and burned it up to 12MB less than its capacity.
Using Nero's Surface Scan to check for read errors, it returns different results: 9% unreadable, .09% unreadable; all toward the end of the scan. Also, it seems that the 9% results come from my DVD-ROM and the low and sometimes perfect scans come from my DVD Writer (NEC ND1300a [1.08 revision]).
The results are even worse with DVDInfoPro.
Any advice or suggestions?
Thanks.
