Hello, can anyone tell me why some of my DVDs (Verbatim 4x) plays fine for a couple times on my Sony DVD player and then they start to act up? After a couple times that they play perfectly then they hang up or at some point they start to jump or show big square blocs. Any idea what's going on here?
Thank you

Have you tried playing them on any other machine? What you are saying sounds like the result of bad media. Sometimes when they cook in a hot DVD player, the media is damaged. If they consistantly get bad after several playings, that's what it would point to. Some players are more picky than others. If they play fine in everything else, then maybe the player is the problem.
