Hi board,
Hope you are all well, I just wondered what people thought of the quality/purpose of the standalone DVD Recorders used to record directly from an AV input? Has anyone got one? Has anyone seen results from one?
Just interested,
cheers - stokefan

I think you will find many users / supporters here - the standalone doesn't replace the PC-based process, rather it complements it...the quality of the output can be quite good..the editing isn't nearly as flexible (or as easy IMO) as what you can do on your PC (or mac) but you can do a lot of editing, relatively speaking, without a PC...
there are also a lot of posts here about specific models, etc.
what in particular are you looking to find out?"As you ramble on through life, brother, whatever be your goal - keep your eye upon the doughnut and not upon the hole."
