I downloaded the latest GordianKnotFast4U app and the rest of the accessory apps. It took 2hrs 50min to backup a 2hr DVD movie and the encoder says the audio was muxed but it wasn"t. I can play the AC3 audio file separate from the movie but the avi itself does not have the sound in it. I do have AC3 filter installed and can hear DVDs w/ AC3 just fine in WMP & PowerDVD. The problem here is that audio & video are not muxed even when the GordianKnotFast4U encoder log message says they are.
I've gotten files from others and it has been a hit or miss whether the sound is muxed or not & this is why I tried to do it myself.
I've encoded at maximum resolution and as a single file 2.5Gb w/ AC3 .
Why is the sound not muxed? The picture quality is very, very good.
Thanks

Hello!!! Anybody using this program that can answer the question ?
Is this a bug in the program saying audio-video are muxed when they are not and how can I mux the AC3 & Divx-Avi video files together using this program or other ? -
I used AutoGordianKnot .5 to reduce a 650 MB down to a 50 MB with no trouble with the sound. Perhaps a reinstall? Have you tried Fair Use? I had success with it the first time I tried it on Behind Enemy Lines ... and excellent quality.

check ALL your settings in ac3 filter and set the gain etc in there. I have used this program and it works very well. both ac3 sound and mp3 sound..
