Hi,
I am using Vidomi with DivX 5.1.1. My problem is twofold:
Firstly, if I use the "DivX Networks Two Pass" option, it allows me to set up the encoder once only. I assume I set the actual DivX controls to "Multipass: First pass" as this has worked with DivX 5.0.2. However, when I use this option, Vidomi outputs a file that contains only audio, although it seems to be processing video too (runs at 2 frames per second).
Secondly, if I use "Normal Two pass Codec", Vidomi allows me to set DivX up properly and yields stunning results, but refuses to stick to a final file size!
I need a 45 minute clip to fit into 350MB. Vidomi outputs several files by breaking the clip up into 350MB chunks. I know it's trying to help by keeping it to a media size. How can I tell it to stick to 350MB, when the "Target Size" options are greyed out, and only the "Media size" box is active?
I have tried using XVid to encode the video but unfortunately, the video has a very grainy effect to it (it is an original DVD source, so high quality) and so I need the source pre-processing offered by DivX.
Any help would be very gratefully recieved!
