Hi everyone,

Just wondering what you guys think of WinDVD Creator's MPEG Encoder? I recently had trouble with CCE pixelating certain flash sequences in my video when I convert it to DVD format, but when I used WinDVD's encoder I had no problems at all - no defects whatsoever. I compared it with encodings from CCE and Procoder and found it to be about the same or better quality. Procoder darkens the videos for some odd reason and CCE often has random pixel defects in the videos. I'm just wondering what you all think of WinDVD's Encoder? How would you rate it?

I am confused about one thing with the videos from the WinDVD Encoder though. When I play them back on Windows Media or WinDVD they are great quality, but on PowerDVD with "Vivid" color settings, lines show up. Is this a flaw with PowerDVD or is the WinDVD Encoder not so great afterall?

Thanks for any input,
Kristin
