  1. I've obtained an MPEG-1 VCD ready file, but the audio is 0.5sec ahead of the video, how do a resync the audio?

I tried VirtualDub, and got the Audio/Video spot on by adjusting the audio Skew by -500ms, but it saves as AVI not MPG

    Anyone know?

  2. Use tmpeg, mpeg tools, De-Multiplex the audio and then the video streams, You now have seperate files
Go into tmpeg and load them in, go to the setting and in there you can offset the audio etc, Then simply re-encode to svcd or leave as vcd your choice. If you dont want to re-encod in two seperate files (discs) first join both files (discs) together in tmpeg. and go from there as above.. Hope this helps... Generator...

  4. I can post again Thanks Baldrick!

Generator, I tried your suggestion, I failed!! Managed to split the file into an m1v/mp2, loaded them back into TMPGEnc but where do you offset the audio?? I can't see anything in MPEG_Tools or in SETTINGS? Also, do I have to re-encode the file again?, because that's not what I want to do if I can avoid it, it takes HOURS!!
