  1. While ripping a DVD the other day (using DVD Backup, DVD2onex, Toast 6), I encountered an error statement saying it could not decode one file and asked if I wanted to continue. I did and after observing the files in the VIDEO_TS folder, there was an .IFO and .BUP file missing which happened to be associated with the largest .VOB files (6 to be exact). All the rest of the folder seems intact. I've tried to burn this but it won't play in my Home DVD Player. How can I create new .IFO & .BUP files using Mac OSX Panther software and will this change the prep work before burning? I'm quite new at this so please go step by step. Thanks for the help!!

easiest way is to try ripping with OSEX and see if it does with no problems.

otherwise its a rather difficult process and requires virtual Pc and an app called IFO edit

im surprised dvd2one even worked for you to then burn the disk since it should have recognized the missing files
