How to set a region code for a dvd

Hi,

I need to test my Player for region hack. how do i make a ripped dvd to a particular region and burn it so that i can test that my player plays any region dvd's

Back up DVD using DVD Shrink. Option will appear for region setting, uncheck the region-free box and select a different region. i would suggest you use a rewritable dvd so you can erase it later. saves you wasting a dvdr disc.

You can also modify the VIDEO_TS.IFO using IfoEdit 0.96. Open the IFO file. look under the VMGM_MAT sup directory, then highlight and double click the VGM Category, Regional Code Maske line. you change use any value between 0 to 254. each value inputed will give you a different region and or regions allowed.
