hi
i whant to try and burn a movie on a dvd with out a dvd burner. i have a normal cd burner. how can i do this.

If you have a DVD-ROM, you rip the DVD to your computer. Look into the DVD Rip section at left for a program that you think will be easiest for you to use.

Next, you convert the ripped files to a MPEG format you want the DVD to be in. The two available are VCD and SVCD for a CD burner. Look under Convert for a good guide for you.

Next, you will probably want a good (S)VCD authoring and burning program to make you (S)VCD. Check out the authoring programs for your answer.

Now, you will need a CD-RW to burn your (S)VCD to, as they are reuseable, so your mistakes will not cost you anything. Hope this helps!
