  1. I have a DVD9 which contain both the full screen and wide screen version of a movie. I ripped the wide screen version along with all the extras and menus. When I go to play the movie, the menu screen where you can choose widescreen or full screen still appears. Is there a way to just remove the menu where it gives the option of wide screen and full screen and just automatically play the full screen version?

You could re-author just the wide screen movie ALONE and leave off the DVD Menu. Use DVDShrink. I don't keep the DVD Menu if I just want the movie. That way you'll still have the movie chapters and the movie will start to play automatically as soon as you DVD player loads up.

One way to get close is to capture a still picture of the menu
and use it as background in a new menu. You may have to paint
over some buttons on the still

  5. Then rip as normal and use a progrma like menuedit to remove the buttons you do not want.

  6. I tried that with menuedit. After deleting out some extras and following the official sites guide to update the ifos, ifoedit keeps giving me errors. Says the file sizes don't match or something. Isn't that the point of updating so ifoedit can re-match the size? If done this like 3 or 4 times, same thing you just replace the menu bits.
