From what info I've found so far, it should be the same method used to rip individual chapters/episodes from a standard DVD

Use one of the common DVD ripping programs, then rip each individual song onto your computer, then create a DVD as usual

Try looking at DVDDecryptor, its what I use and find easier to get to grips with than SmartRipper. These seems to be the main 2 rippers that people use

I believe you would have to create your own menu for this though.... I can't seem to find much on the Karaoke DVD layout, so can't comment if it uses a specific menu system

Personally "I" use TMPGenc DVD Author for creating DVD's, you may prefer something else

Maybe DVD-Lab could be better at creating what you want ??

  4. use smartRipper in step 1 of this guide to rip the songs (one song per vob file)

use DVD-Lab to assemble the songs.

if it is too much trouble making menu in DVD-Lab and you don't need menu, use this guide (I haven't tried though)
