  1. Sorry if this is a stupid question but does this drive read from e-50's ram and able to write to dvd-r? Is there any loss of quality going from ram to -r and how would I go about this!

    Thanks!

There is no loss in quality when copying a DVDRAM to DVDR(+or-, W or not).

You can pickup a DVDROM drive that reads DVDRAM for less than $40 somewhere.....there are numerous units that can do this. Then it's a straight Disk to Disk copy, very fast.

  5. fsuorange,

A DVD-RAM disc is different from a computer RAM module. Please read the DVD FAQ for more info.

If your DVD-ROM drive is capable of using DVD-RAM disks, you can import the .vro file into many authoring programs to edit, add chapters, menues and then convert to DVD VOBs that can be burned with many burning programs, so the answer is yes.
