  1. Hi,

Does anyone know how to add a subtitle to a DVD movie in a simple way?
Can be a DVD reauthored with a new subtitle without ripping, mux, demux,.etc?

I have a DVD movie disk with a subtitle in a foreign language, and I want to create another DVD movie disk adding a new subtitle in other language.
Please tell me also how to procure and integrate the new subtitle into the movie to fit properly? How to add it also into the DVD movie menu?

Please tell me if you really know how to do it.

I have some knowledge about methodologies(ripping, encoding, authoring) and tools(DVD Maestro, Sonic Scenarist, Adobe Encore DVD, SubRip, etc) but I did not find the proper solution.
Does any tool know to do that in a simple way(without ripping, encoding, etc)?

    Is anybody here smart enough?

I'm waiting for your fast, clean, and master solution.

    Thank you very much,

You only need to use vobedit, ifoedit and srt2sup(any maybe a subtitle create/converter like Subtitle Workshop):

But it is NOT easy. And you must rip the dvd if it is a commercial dvd...or use anydvd 3 or dvd region-free to remove the dvd encryption.

Another method is to use vobedit and demultiplex the video and audio and retauthor with the new subtitles using dvd maestro or sonic scenarist. But you have to know how to use those tools pretty well. You can use Subtitle Workshop to convert to subs to those apps...or the MaestroSBT
    subtitle tool.

  3. I know these methods but are unsure and not simple.
I heard that exists a fast and reliable method/tool, a professional one(maybe a linear editing but I'm not sure), but I don't know it yet.
However, Thank you for your tip.
