How can I get info about what mpeg file I got. I have a couple of file that I want to burn as a VCD but I dont know if they are SVCD or VCD or..???

its really straight forward...basically VCD is mpeg and will play in windows media player but SVCD is mpeg 2 and will not play in windows media player. Try that.

OK, Thanx.
But...when I'm burning a vcd, some VCD's wont work. What I have noticed is that when I'm opening a mpeg in MPEGProperties from Medialab, it's usally only get 3 flaps...Program, system and Video 01, when it does that it will probably work, but when I open a mpeg file and one more flap is visible (Audio 01) it will not work. Can anyone understand what I'm talking about?? Is it another kind of MPEG layer1??
