I haven't tried yet, but will XCopy Express make a copy of one of its backups?
"Burn a burn" ?
I heard you couldn't, and I didn't want to make a coaster trying.
Thanks,
H.

From your direct question, the answer is no. The reason is very simple. Any DVD backup software from 321 Studios puts a small txt file at the root of the DVD. The txt is the "copy protection" flag that is looked for when using 321 Studios software to create a backup from a backup.
All this means is if the txt file is present, then the prgram will noy allow you to preceed.
If you have a backup created by 321 Studios, then the Macrovision and CSS type protection are already removed. PLus your backup is already broken down into a DVD-5 (current recordables).
You can make a backup of the 321 Studios' version just by copying the VIDEO_TS folder onto your hard drive and then importing it into standalone burning software like Nero and Roxio applying "DVD-Video" settings.
