If you can demultiplex the ogg file,Easy CD-DA Extractor can convert the ogg directly to mp3.

    Hi,

I'm no audio conversion expert, so i just typed "convert ogg wav mp3" into www.google.com and got this at the top of the list:

    http://www.audio-converter.com/

It's trialware and does 10 conversions of each type, then you have to pay ($19.95).

Google also returns a lot of other results that also look promising.

    Hope that helps...

i just tried to convert my 1 mono channel ogg file with easy cd-da converter but version 6 does support STEREO files only.....
then i tried latest BeSweet but it crashes too after pushing convert button...probably the same reason because my ogg file is MONO...

any ideas how to convert ogg mono file to wav please?

  6. Have you tried opening the avi file in either GoldWave or Audacity?

Both of them support the OGG format, and GoldWave is a very good app for extracting audio from avi's in general.

    cheers,
    mcdruid.

P.S. I've just double-checked, and Audacity supports OGG out of the box, whereas the GoldWave manual says this:

    Ogg Files

To work with Ogg Vorbis files, GoldWave requires a copy of the CALOGG00.DLL module in the Windows\System or WinNT\System32 folder.

For the download location of that module, please see the GoldWave website:
