  2. You can get an USB 2.0 PCI card at your local computer store. Just plug any USB devices directly to the card and not the MOBO.

  4. "MOBO" = motherboard
Replace your USB 1.1 card with a 2.0 card. The card plugs into the motherboard.

  5. You will probably still haVE YOUR OLD USB1.1 as well as your new card with usb2.0 . You can still use both but obviously hi-speed is only available on the new port. You sound like you are not technical enough to fit a card, it is easy but let someone else do it and watch them.. next time you can do it!

    It looks something like this:

    $8.00 at newegg.com

    http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?DEPA=1&submit=Go&description=usb%2C2%2E0%2Cpci%2Ccard

or you can buy one locally at someplace like PC Club or CompUSA, Best Buy, etc. Plug it in and go. Instructions come with it. Easy. Don't worry.
