  1. Is there a simple way to do this?

I have a DVD with some songs on it and i would like to make my own DVD just filled of Music Videos from different movies. I know how to burn and work with mpeg and avi files but can't figure out how to get to these formats from a DVD.

    I would appreciate any help.

    Thanks.

Songs are normally in individual chapters. Rip the chapters you want. There's a program,VOBEDIT,it has a join clip function that will string all the chapters into vob files and will preserve each song as an individual chapter. Then use IFOEDIT to create the required ifo files.
VOBEDIT is available in the tools section. The songs files will have to be renaned in specific way for VOBEDIT to accept them.
this website contains guides on how to use VOBEDIT and IFOEDIT.

  6. Thanks for all the suggestions. Unfortunately these songs are not in individual chapters.

I think dvdshrink might be able to solve my problem. I will give it a shot.

    Thanks again.
