Maybe someone can explain to me why Pinnacle Studio 8 (which was shipped with my ATI Radeon 9700 PRO AIW), which says in the title bar "Studio 8 ATI Version", completely fails to work with video captured using the ATI card?
Hehe. What a crazy world we live in![]()
Also, just to add insult to injury, Studio fails to recognise my DVD writer (a certain Panasonic SW9571).
So my VHS->DVD procedure currently goes like this...
Grab video in DVD quality mpeg2 using Radeon. Convert from mpeg2 to err. .. mpeg2 using TMPEG. Import files into studio, create menus etc. Use studio to create the VOB files etc but not burn disc. Create Video DVD using Nero and drag created VOB (etc...) files to video_ts folder.
What a complete waste of time!
Anyone else have a procedure as convoluted as this?
By the way, if anybody knows of a way to cut out any of these stages, I would be grateful!!
