    Is there such a program that wil allow me to scan....search through a MPEG file in WMP?

    At the moment i cannot source through a file....It just freezes if i move the search bar cursor!

    All MPEG files have this problem...Not just 2 or 3....

    MPEGS work if i let them play from the strat ok....But the minute i scan to say 20 mins in....The picture freezes and never plays again!

    Help much appreciated!

    Use a software DVD player such as PowerDVD or WinDVD. Then skip backwards and forwards to your hearts content!

    Windows Media Players Classic is pretty snappy little standalone player that needs no installation (rename and use it at work :P ).

    Thanx guys...I have the DVD players as you described and have used them before....Its just im sure i downloaded something on my old machine to solve the problem...Ill just stick to the DVD players!
