  1. Okay here is my problem,

I have an avi file in divx format but it is in 23.967 FPS. Now to get that DVD compatible I have to convert it to 29.967 My question is how do I do this using nandub / tmpgenc with audio/video in synch. I don't want to use besweet to make an AC3 file because it isn't compatible with some pioneer dvd players. I couldn't find this paticular problem doing search and It's getting very late so I thought I would ask this question. If you could help me I would appreciate it very much. Thanks.

  2. In TmpGenc, Set Encode Mode as 3:2 Pulldown when playback, set FrameRate as 23.976fps (internally 29.976fps) and voila, a 23.976fps video that plays back magically at 29.976fps and in perfect sync with your audio!

Oh, and it is DVD compliant too.

  3. Okay,

I did what you suggested. I encoded the move in TMPGenc and selected 3:2 pull down and 23.97 (29.97 internally). Now when I get the end result I authored it and burned it onto DVD -R media (Rigek04). After that I went to play the movie in the DVD player and I get jittery frames. In each frame I notice where it kind of slows down for a second and then goes back to normal. I have also tried messing with the field order (a) and (b). That did nothing. If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it.
