  1. I'm using Tmpgenc long time for converting movies to VCD.
Well today i have uninstalled some of codecs and filters and the problem accured. Till now tmpgenc had no problems with converting AC3 now it says: the error acured while ACM intialized.
Have any clue which codec or filter i need to reinstall.

  2. Huh? As far as I know TMPGEnc has never supported AC3 audio. When was this added? What were you doing with AC3 in TMPGEnc?

For reasons I don't understand TMPEG 2.52 will encode ac3,it will even open vob files and convert them. I have several versions of TMPEG on my computer, but I make a point of keeping 2.52 because it opens ac3,older and newer versions will not.

I usually just extract the AC3 to wav with Goldwave and use that as the audio source.

I use TMPGEnc v2.59 Plus, and I have no problems opening and converting files with ac3 codec. As a matter of fact most of my files are ac3 audio.
