  1. Hi everyone...

I try to load AVI file into VirtualDub. I keep getting this :

"One of the video codecs installed in the system modified the video format passed to it by VirtualDub. This indicates a codec bud that may cause the windows video codec system to malfuntion."

What does this mean and how can we correct this ???

    Thanks in advance

Smells like the Nemo Codec pack? Or DivX 3.11 .

What codec does the AVI actually use? What's the 4cc header say.

When I load it in VirtualDub and check file information, it says the video decompressor is APvc, I found the codec...still getting the same pop up window (Should I reboot the machine after installing a new codec ???)

As for 4cc, I have no idea what that is..where do we check that ??

    Thanks for helping

p.s. Where can I find the Microcrap codec ?? Been searching the net without any success
