  1. I have a HP200i (listed as 200J) dvd burner, using anyDVD and CloneDVD. My problem is that I recently burnt about 6 discs in a row. The first one was fine, it played on computer and DVD player. The second only plays on my computer and not on my DVD player. Third disc was fine, fourth disc only plays on comp., and the fifth was fine, etc. When I look at the bottom of the discs, on the inside rings, where the burning starts, there is a little blank space. On the good DVD's its only 2mm or so (guessing at size) and on the ones that only play on the comp. its like 3 or 4mm. I don't think its the media, on the fifth disc...after seeing a little pattern I grabbed the disc below the one I would have used and it still came out bad. Anyone know what it could be causing this, any ideas on how I can fix it . I would like to stick with these programs if I can. Thanks to anyone who can help me with this

  2. - bad media --- get better ones

    - outdated firmware --- update it

    - bad burning engine --- update to the latest CloneDVD or use RecordNow to burn the file created by CloneDVD
