HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Help

I can't make my MPG file into a VCD using Nero. I right click on the file and at the bottom in the white box, it said that the file is a Read only file. I then unchecked that white box that said Read only and press ok but then another error came up & I still couldn't change that file properties from read only to normal. How can I burn a read only file or change it so that the mpg file can be burn into a vcd? THANXXXX!!!!!

Simple, don't use Nero to change the file properties, just use Windows Explorer
