VOB file error

I have converted an avi file to mpg2 with TMPGenc, and it is 7Gb in size. Then I used TMPGenc Author to create the DVD files for me. Then I tried to shrink the DVD files to fit on a standard DVD disk, using DVD Shrink,but it reports an error/problem with the first VOB file and stops.

How do I overcome this problem?
I have used this method before on large files without any problems.

Hmmz I also had problems with >4 gb mpgs...
Now I use IFOEDIT 2 convert MPV + MP2 + Sup ---> VOB
But I believe it won't work with single muxed MPG..

U can demux the MPG with DVDLAB into MPV and MPA I believe
and the use IFOEDIT

But surely there's an easier way ... just don't now that way ...
