  1. Please Help:

While conevrting avi files to VCD format with this program at 99% I always get an error about a problem while decompressing the audio. But for some reason my movies still work. Im trying to find out if this is common or something i need to address? I burn my movies onto CD-RW's with platinum ratings and they all seem to work just find on my standalone dvd player! So im curious if im missing out on something or not?

    Question Number 2:

The vidoe quality that I get seems to be adequte but im curious if there is something i can do or a program i may be able to get to boost the picture qaulity here are the seeting I use for my files:
    Mpeg 1 352x240
    29.97 fps CBR 1150kbps
    Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps-for audio

Are these correct or is there something I can do to getthe picture quality up and still keep it a VCD formated disc?

    Thankyou for your time

What did you mean by 'decompressing the audio'?

If you're making VCDs, then simply use the VCD Template that came with TMPGEnc (assuming you are using TMPGEnc). You can try messing around with TMPGEnc's filters to slightly improve quality. Some recommendations are using the Noise Reduction Filter... but using this will GREATLY increase the encoding time.
