  1. ive been having the sound go out in a section of the movie i made incoding with mainconcept....

i use vcd gear to ripp vcd to pc,

merge with tmpg 2.5 [merge /cut tool],

use mainconcept to make dvd compliant ,

    then author with tmpg author.

all works pretty smooth but ill have this issue where sound goes out for like 10-15 min or so then comes back in .

obviously something going wrong in the encoding process....i dont mess with settings much....

i select to make a dvd....then set constant bitrate [4000-6000]according to how big the file is...try and go as high as allowed according to the size of the movie.
[usually movies are always to big to leave as variable bitrate]

also select movie and sound which works fine USUALLY?

have done alot successfully but still get these where the sound disapears for awhile!!! WHICH = JUNK/COASTER/WASTED TIME!! LOL

    thanks ahead for any feedback

Load the videos directly in Main Concept-use batch mode and elect for single file in the batch dialogue box.
Most probably- there is some corruption in the CD-try using isobuster to rip the tracks (not the dat files)-select filter to mpeg.
