  1. Hi. I posted this question in other thread but no one replied (it was a different topic though).

This is what I have set up (I am in USA).

PAL SP mode tape on European VCR Panasonic (some croatian VCR) with coax connection to Samsung SV5000W (SP mode died on this thing so I am using Panasonic VCR, Italy set as country on Samsung), then RCA from Samsung to JVC VCR (standard NTSC vcr) and then coax to Hauppage card for capturing.

    So in short

    Panasonic European VCR
    coax to
Samsung SV5000W (I could shorten the connections here; coax to hauppage Wintv)
    RCA to
    JVC Vcr
    Coax to
    Hauppage TV card

This is a sample of converted PAL SP tape from 1970s (old Croatian movie)

What do you guys make of jumpy picture???

Is it because of poor source or Samsung SV5000W conversion???

here's the link (please, please for experienced ones only not too much bandwidth allocated)

    Thanks in advance

Poor source makes the SV5000W give poor results, when converting. Just playing natural format look fine, but then, again, poor source.
