I have downloaded a movie but when i check what version it is in it says BIN. Is this the same as a MPEG?

You can also mount the cue/bin file with daemon tools or alcohol 120% and play with windvd or powerdvd to see what it is before you burn.

The movie plays ok on my pc but i just wondered if i was to burn this whether or not it would work on a DVD player like other MPG movies do.

BIN/CUE are CDR images. Like an ISO or NRG file, you need to burn it with a CD Burner, then stick the disk in your player.
