  1. I have downloaded a movie but when i check what version it is in it says BIN. Is this the same as a MPEG?

    BIN files are cd image files. you either need to burn the file using the matching cue file. or use cd-mage and extract what is inside the bin, then burn extrated files however you desire.

    You can also mount the cue/bin file with daemon tools or alcohol 120% and play with windvd or powerdvd to see what it is before you burn.

  4. The movie plays ok on my pc but i just wondered if i was to burn this whether or not it would work on a DVD player like other MPG movies do.

    BIN/CUE are CDR images. Like an ISO or NRG file, you need to burn it with a CD Burner, then stick the disk in your player.

    I have tried to burn this bin file using Nero the same way as i do with MPG movies but it wont work. Nero says the file is invalid.

    Hope soemone can help.
