    I have a cdrw. Will nero burn that cdr to a dvd for a stand alone?

    It depends upon what is on the cdr. More info please.

    i've burnt dvd video onto cdr's with nero and they played on my Apex dvd player. you can only get small dvd video on cdr. Open nero smart start, click on cd tab in upper right corner, choose mini dvd and nero will make the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folder for you. the slider at the bottom shows app. 825 mb. add your video file to the VIDEO_TS folder.
