I captured 2 mpeg2 files of 3.5 gigs each then ran them thru TMPGE author to make dvds then reran them thru TMPGE author to make one dvd file. Then I open shrink and open that file, it starts an analysis but stops at around 48% with an error stating "cannot decrypt vobs"- reason unknown. Also when I open the vts file, there is actually no IFO ext.file?? What am I doing wrong?? Thanks

i also have problems with TDA's output going into Shrink. workaround is to use v2.3 of Shrink (still available at his(her?) site), and then 3.0b5 if you want (for DA). if you are missing IFOs you will need to run your files thru IfoEdit first to generate them. but try 2.3 first (since 3.0b5 actually got you to the 48% point). good luck. -
Thanks Noki, I actually have done this or should I say am in the process? I got 2.3 and loaded the file and let it run. It has been running now for about 4+hrs and is almost completed according to the slider below the preview window?? Does this sound normal?? It is running in "Full Disc"mode. The other choice would be to "reauthor"? Also, what is TDA and DA stand for? Thanks

4 hours seem like a heck of a long time. but if it works...let me know. when i run a problem set of files from TDA thru 2.3 i do not reauthor. i just need the set to be 3.0b5-ready and i subsequently do the reauthor with DA in it.
TDA = TMPGEnc DVD Author
DA = Deep Analysis
