I am using BlazeMediaPro to convert WMV files to Mpeg2. The conversion works without any problems. I, then, am using Nero Express 6 to burn to DVD-R. The problem that I am having is that some of the WMV files that are converted to Mpeg have multicolored lines at the top of the frame and poor patchy color after being added to Nero for burning. It seems to occur in about half the files that I converted. I have tried a couple of other converters and have the same problem. All the converted Mpeg files play perfectly using the Windows Media program. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  3. Try using Sound Forge 6.0 and up Or their batch converter release 5.1 I think (I bought soundforge 5.0 and batch converter came free) to convert to avi.

Just checked Batch converter 5.0b supports wmv to avi (then you can convert it to mpeg).
