    I am fairly new to dvd backups, but have read a good number of the tutorials on this site. No troubles with ripping/decoding using DVD Shrink. However, I cannot play burned discs on my Sony DVP-NS715P (with the exception of a Fuji DVD+RW). I have tried Clone DVD and Nero (using settings from one of these guides) and multiple different media including CompUSA, Imation, and Fuji on my Optorite DD0203 (firmware 2.16). All discs will play on other players, just not the Sony. Anyone have this player, or have any ideas? Losing my mind, thanks for the help.

    Optorite site has the latest firmware version 2.23 for the DD0203.

    This has improved the compatibility of DVD-R disks writtten on it.
