When using DVDshrink to backup some of my DVD's I Re-Authoured to get the best video quality and I forgot to disable the subpicture box, so when I checked on the burnt DVD's, guess what's there......subtitles. Do I have to go through the whole process of shrinking the whole DVD again or can I just run DVDshrink on the files that have been created in the folder. If so how would I do that???

But if you just remove the subtitles, you still get the same videoquality since you shrunk it too much... Or have I missunderstood something?

That is correct, but subtitles take up such a small amount of space on the disc I wouldn't worry about it. I doubt you will see any difference in picture quality if you redid the disc without them.

Maximus,
Garry's right, the quality of your movie will not improve noticeably as subtitles take very little room. I'll go out on a limb and assume you mean that when you play the movie, the subtitles are on. Of course, since you don't have the menus anymore after re-authoring, you may think they can't be turned off. There should be a subtitles button on your remote to turn them off.
Judging from the number of your posts, I assumed you might be a newbie and this is an easy mistake to make. If I did not assume correctly and underestimated you, sorry. -

I did just that! I thought that something was wrong with my burn so I trashed the disc! Crap!!! Well, I guess you live and learn. -
Just to clarify that it wasn't a compression issue, but subtitles being in the DVD when I played it. Seeings I had no menu access I thought I couldn't turn off the subtitles. I didn't know you could turn them off from the remote without any menu's, so I hope I can. Man.........newbie or what.....anyway's thanks for the help all.
