  1. Hi,
I was burning a movie on dvd+rw as a test and it played on all my dvd players but then i when i burned it onto dvd+r for some reason it only plays on the computer that i burned it with. Can you help me understand what is going on and help me so when i brun the next time it can work. Also fy, i used the program burnatonce and for some reason it always buffers at 99%(i dont really know what that means). And if i go to dvd decrypter, it says status incomplete on the one that doesnt work and status complete on the one that does work. Is there a way to fix it by burning that missing part in....cause im running out of dvd+r and im broke. THank you for your time.

  2. Well, re-writable media doesn't have the same characteristics as recordable media, just as recordable media doesn't "look" quite the same to the DVD player. They're close, but as you will no doubt have seen from all the other posts, media compatibility is often an issue. Some bear closer resemblence to a pressed disc than others.

The fact the +RW works suggests it is just the media and not the player not liking the +R format.

What manufacturer made your blanks ? You might have been unlucky and picked one your DVD player doesn't like. Have you looked up your player in the list to the left ?

  3. But i burned another episode of the series, on the same type of dvd+r which is made my memorex and it played on all of them. I looked in the log of the burnatonce and it said there was an issue with an underbuffer thing. I look on the cd and i noticed that part of the ring in the center is not quite burned...but on the rw it is... Do you think if i made a copy of the dvd+rw that did worked from dvd decrypter and burned it dvd+r it would work? If you copy anything from dvd+r to RW will it work...
