i was trying to burn vcd on to a cd but when i put it in my dvd player it showed the menu but when i tryed to play it but nothing happened

to rip i used supper dvd ripper : dvd to vcd
it made 2 mpeg1 movies well i loaded it up in
nerovision express se and burned it

i know i am missing 1 or 2 steps in this prosses just not sure what
