Okay folks here's the story so far......
I've captured a VHS into MPG2.....all went well
I used Ulead Workshop to author the menu's and create the folders on my hdd.....all went well.
I then used Nero 6.0.0.0 to burn the DVD in DVD UDF mode (using UDF 1.2, on Ritek GO4 discs), I then tested this disk in my DVR 106 drive and my Sony DAVS standalone......all went well.
A friend then tried the same disc in his Todhiba THA5R standalone (which we've watched dvd -r's on before).......all went wrong......disc not recognised???
If any one can see the weak link in my process please let me know because I'm going to be giving copies of this disc out to loads 'o' people and I need it to be compatable in as many drives as possible.......any help would be much appreciated.....
Cheers in advance for helping the noobFM.

Might be using Nero to burn. Try another burning software. If you don't have one, Try using DVDDecrypter to make an image and then to burn it. It's free. If that does'nt work, Download a free trial copy of TMPGEnc DVD Author
and re-author your dvd.
