I have downloaded a DVD-Rip movie from a torrent site and I have a problem that maybe someone might be able to help me with.
I used Nero 5.5 to burn this movie and I burned the Video_TS file which contained lots of other files within it so I highlighted them and dragged them all across which contained 38 files, I then burned them all together which was something like 4.4GB. Once I had burned it I tested it on my DVD player.
The message DVD Video came up on the top left-hand side but with no image or audio.
Could you give me some advice on what to do and how to do it, maybe it's something I'm doing wrong, I'd appreciate any assistance in this, thanks in advance.

One thing to add is that when starting to burn the movie I am getting a message at the start sayingDVD-Video compliance test failed and required files of VIDEO_TS.IFO, VIDEO_TS.BUP and VTS_04_0.BUP were not present, it also said that the DVD may not play why is this, is the movie I downloaded missing those files???
-
One more thing is that when looking at those files on the desktop where the file is situated the files that are require3d are there, what am I doing wrong???

It's now saying the DVD-Video files reallocation failed what does this mean?? still saying the resulting DVD might be unplayable and there is a option to continue like b4

I will assume it isn't a copyrighted DVD, as I cannot prove otherwise
what I can say is that whoever ripped and created the DVD didn't do a good job
it's hard enough trying to fix your own messups, but somebody elses? -
id be tempted to write it to a dvdrw and see what happens
sometime i bet it'll work others it wont
i beT3 out of 4 times it works by any chance? -
Try this...
go to www.doom9.net and download Daemon Tools. Install Daemon Tools and mount the downloaded ISO file. Then you can play the DVD from the ISO on your computer using PowerDVD or WinDVD 4 and check the ISO before burning it.
Doing this will tell you if the ISO is alright or not. It is quite possible that the ISO file is corrupt. If the ISO file is alright then you are dealing with a bad burn process. I would suggest that you use DVD Decrypter to burn the ISO as it is just easier to burn ISO's using decrypter (IMO).
If you downloaded the movie from a "warez" or similar site then the ISO maybe locked or have other issues in it that are unexpected...I will save you the whole warez is illegal speech but you shouldn't be pirating anyway.
