i would like to capture from a freeview box to my hdd then write a dvd
i have firewire input on my pc and wondered what else i needed

The best way is to buy a Nebula DTT PCI card for your PC (they are about £120) and grab the raw data stream direct off air and onto your hard drive. All you have to do is demux the stream with PVAstrumento or ds.JAR and remux with bbMPEG into a DVD type MPEG2 file and you can burn it directly onto a DVDR disc. This is what I do all the time. Basically archiving broadcast quality masters onto DVDR for less than a quid a disc!Originally Posted by kcalczab
