  2. I assume this is ok since there is no copy protection and the files can be freely had from the 'owner'.

    So here's some info:

The hi res QT version can be grabed over http. Here is an example url. (right click and save as)
    http://progressive1.stream.aol.com/turner/gl/cartoon_net/starwars/chapter1/320_hi_dl.mov

You can use Blink/Smacker to convert the video. I'm not sure you can convert the audio. A quick time expert maybe could help. :P

To get the real media versions you need something that talks rtsp protocol. HiDownload is a (30-day trial) program that does.

Here is an example url for a real file (right click probably won't work here)

    rtsp://demand1.stream.aol.com/turner/gl/cartoon_net/clonewars/chapter2/st_video.rm

You could use the real audio on the qt video. I believe there are guides for all of the conversion stuff.......

    Have Fun !!

  4. To get the URLs

Right click on the url's I gave and check the properties. All the other mov/rm files are a simple variation of the 1st. 'chapter1', 'chapter2', ...

    OR

If you just want to know for future fun, open the smil file in notepad.

Edit BTW, I did not grab all of the files. I'm not planning on doing what you want to do. I just thought it was interesting so I took a look. Kinda wished I captured the broadcasts when they were on tv. Too bad they only show them in small little bites.

  5. A bit off topic but they ran all ten last night { 11/21/03 }.

Have read of plans to release them on DVD. Abou the other 10 of the total twenty have no idea when they will be released. Just a vauge 2004 listing.
